Oinochoe
Corinthian, 6th century BC
Clay, black glaze and added red.
H 17 cm Ø 16 cm
Oinochoe with elliptical body, trefoil mouth, broad handle and ring foot. The oinochoe is completely black except for the bottom. On shoulder zone a frieze of incised lines in groups of two; partially decorated with added red. On the body surrounding red lines and bands. Unbroken, small area of modern infill on rim.
